Why we exist?

NCiB was setup to provide a safe space and community for Nigerians, as well as to showcase our culture to the German public.

Our Association through it’s activities also aims to provide an avenue for the general German public to come in contact with Nigerians, Nigerian art and culture. We believe this would showcase a more accurate narrative about Nigerians in the society, and dispel biases based on unfounded stereotypes that result in racism and discrimination, and ultimately result in expatriate Nigerians experiencing true inclusion in the society.

Our Activities

  • Cultural events in the fields of literature, music, Art, or dance in cooperation with Nigerian artists, as well as art and cultural institutions in Germany and Europe.
  • Art exhibitions on Nigerian visual arts, and photography in collaboration with independent Nigerian artists.
  • Targeted Community groups.
  • Language courses, professional coaching workshops for stress management, time management, strengthening of communication skills, project planning, project coordination, or development of leadership skills for managers and specialists.
